Q&A WITH STEVEN R PATTERSON, LAW FIRM FOUNDER AND ATTORNEY
Describe your strengths as it pertains to your Practice Area.
I believe it’s important to evaluate all of the factors in each case. We do this by maintaining a sophisticated and in-depth legal assessment that includes a complete review of the law as well as consulting with experts in related fields. I also like to include the client in strategizing, planning and developing the presentation of the case. I am a big proponent of staying in consistent communication with each of my clients—from the initial consultation to end of the case and even beyond, managing post-judgment affairs such as organizing a client’s assets and cash flow.
Describe your approach to a case.
Preparation is always number one. I pay special attention to make sure I have all the documents and statements and paperwork needed to ensure I will successfully resolve my client’s case. I don’t believe there is such a thing as being over-prepared.
What are Community Activities,
Non-Profit/Charities are you involved in?
I am an active participant in the Chamber of Commerce, the Yorba Linda Rotary Club and am very involved in my church, Messiah Lutheran. I volunteer when I can, both locally and internationally, and support a number of Orange County youth sports and arts programs.
What do you do on the weekends, time off, leisure time?
I like to spend as much time outdoors as I can. My favorite activities are bicycling, kayaking, surfing, boating and participating in youth sports programs.
