Christine P. Snapp joined Patterson Law firm in 2000. Christine has spent her career staying true to her strengths and focusing on the areas of Trust and Estates, Fiduciary Accounts, and Business Creation, Modification and Succession Planning. Describing herself as a “transactional attorney,” Christine is a born problem-solver and attempts to bypass the trivial in order to hone in on each client’s goals and devise a skillful plan to effectively reach them. She prides herself on being extremely knowledgeable and efficient at getting court supervised processes filed and approved in a timely manner (where other attorneys may take far longer). Truly motivated by the “nobility of the profession,” Christine is intuitive and empathetic when it comes to the emotional struggles of clients and attempts to find where the psychological and emotional issues are impeding the resolution in a case.

Q&A WITH CHRISTINE P. SNAPP, ATTORNEY
What excites you most about your work and the contributions you make?
Every once in a while, I get a case where I actually make someone’s day or help someone who really needs it. I took a guardianship case where a 20-year-old girl called, crying that she had no money and had been turned away by other Orange County attorneys. I decided to help her knowing I would want someone to help my daughter if she ever found herself in that situation. Her uncle was stealing thousands of dollars from her guardianship account. We got it back for her.
Describe your strengths as it pertains to your Practice Area.
I am good with numbers which allows me to find problems and create solutions on cases where money is an issue (trust litigation, fiduciary accountings).
Using my psychology background, I can ask the thought-provoking and sometimes difficult-to-answer questions necessary to develop a strategic plan for an estate, trust, business, etc., so the end result will be most beneficial for all parties. Sometimes it’s difficult for a parent to see how to select one child over another, or decide to whom to give control and overall management of an estate. I help them come to a decision they are comfortable with.
What do you do on the weekends, time off, leisure time?
I’m an avid reader and lifetime student of history.
I love to garden and grow things.
I enjoy the excitement and unpredictability of college football.
I’m on a never-ending journey to find the perfect restaurant.
I can often be found on the kids soccer field or in the PTA room during my spare time.
